A reverse current relay from our company delivers isolated current monitoring for positive or negative conditions. Our reverse current relay works specifically with DC power distribution and its primary function is to monitor low levels of reverse theater current. All front panel controls on this device are calibrated with millivolts and Transducers can be used within any shunt.

Built in calibration controls with variable settings range from 0 to 20 mV with a momentary pushbutton switch test for quick calibrations. Functional checking and reverse threshold checking are metered with SIG out test jacks move up to 50 mv at the shunt level. Testing current can test the system at a functional shunt lead.

Meter readings ranged from 0 to 20 mv. Power functions are handled with a readout from a light emitting diode. When the LED switches off, this showcases that the failsafe has been activated and there is no substitution trip that will occur.

Zeroing

Type 32 Reverse Current RelayThe zeroing solution on this device compensates for slight offsets and requires minimal adjustment with over currents on the unit. Including a shunt there is an adjustment to 3 decimal points up to.002. For zeroing the device is all that’s needed for any offset changes.

SCR outputs for substitution controls are available on the terminal strip.. Maximum SCR latching is available with a 5 W resistor as well as a 2.5 K ohm parallel coil.

Signal output on this device is provided through analog output current. Outputs are not floating but rather tied to an internal power supply. Instrumentation for different types of amplifiers should be used with this device.
